Let us praise God’s name with dancing, making melody to God with tambourine and lyre. —Psalm 149:3
Women of Zion
The Women of Zion meet the second Saturday of every month for a continental breakfast, devotions and fellowship at 9am. All women of Zion are welcome to attend.
The Men's Fellowship meets the first Saturday of every month for breakfast, devotions and fellowship at 8:30am. This group of men is active in hosting a variety of activities for the congregation, such as theater outings and picnics. These men love to work in our well-equipped kitchen and sponsor a variety of breakfasts and lunches throughout the year. It sponsors our Boy Scout troop and, together with them, puts on an annual chili feed, where you have your choice of hot, mild, or wild chili. The ingredients in the wild chili are provided by our own big game hunters.
Pastor Mike leads a study on Wednesday at 2:00 pm in the library. Usually there is a Sunday morning Adult Forum at 9 am. We are currently studying Luther's Small Catechism.
Zion Family Archery
We usually meet every Sunday at 1 pm at the Pine Tree Pond Park archery range. Each meeting is announced on the Family Archery page. The cost is $5 per youth, $10 per adult, and a max of $15 per family. All equipment is provided. Instruction is part of the experience. This is for all ages from 5 yrs old to 90 yrs old. This is open to anyone in the community. If you are interested contact us. You can also keep up with the current info at Family Archery.
Our Fall Festival is a fundraiser, and a fun-raiser as well. We have a few raffles, including a beer and wine wall. There is a silent auction with over 100 items donated by local businesses and organizations. Food is catered by Catrina'sMexican Grill. And a bouncy house for the little ones.
Our quilters meet two Wednesdays of each month for quilting and conversation. 9–11am normally on the first and third Wednesday is the monthly schedule. Quilting warms our hearts and the hearts of others as well.
Whooooooo’s OWLS? Our newest fellowship group meets around a potluck luncheon or other food-related event approximately once a month to share in a time of fun and community-building. We actively seek those who consider themselves older or wiser souls and those who love to laugh to join us for an event. We meet the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 11:30 am. You don’t have to prove your eligibility to join in.
